How much will a new tattoo cost?

Rates vary by artist / concept. Shop minimum is $100 and artists are $150 an hour. Pricing is subject to change.

Do you require deposits for appointments?

Yes. We require a non-refundable $100 deposit to secure and book any tattoo appointment.

Can you provide aftercare instructions?

Absolutely! Most artists will go over their aftercare methods with you once your appointment is finished, but we also have a general aftercare handout sheet that will be provided to you at check out.

Should I scratch or pick at my new tattoo?

No. Please do not pick or scratch your new tattoo while it’s healing. If it is itchy, wash it with unscented liquid mild soap and blot it dry with a clean paper towel then apply a small amount of lotion to moisturize. However, if it’s scabbing do not apply lotion.

How long does my new tattoo take to heal?

Generally tattoos take anywhere from 2-4 weeks to fully heal.

Can my new tattoo get wet?

Briefly. The tattoo needs to be cleaned, so shower normally and wash your tattoo last. Just don’t let it soak in or under water for any period of time until it’s fully healed. This means no baths and no swimming in pools, hot tubs, lakes, oceans, ponds, rivers, etc.

Should I use Neosporin on my new tattoo?

No. Please avoid Neosporin and similar products as these are petroleum based and can sometimes hinder the healing process. So just stick with what your artist recommends, which is usually Aquaphor for the first 3 days then an unscented hand lotion like Lubriderm for the remainder of the heal time.

How old do I have to be to get tattooed?

The state of New Hampshire requires you to be at least 18 years of age in order to be tattooed.

Do I need my ID / identification to get a tattoo?

Yes! You must have a valid, unexpired government ID present such as a state issued non-driver’s ID, a state issued driver’s license, military ID, or a passport.

Does Tattoo Angus have a minimum cost for a tattoo?

Our shop minimum is $100.

Will you tattoo my face, hands, neck, etc?

All tattoos and their placements are at the discretion of your artist. Please note not all artists will tattoo these areas of the body, so if you are looking for these locations let us know so we can pair you with the appropriate artist.

Do you offer touch-ups after I’ve received my new tattoo?

Following the initial tattoo, touch ups for that specific piece only will be complementary by the artist that did the original piece for up to 60 days. After 60 days have passed, there will be a $100 minimum charge per touch up. This charge is at the discretion of the tattoo artist.

Can you quote tattoo prices over the phone or the email?

Please speak with your artist directly or call to inquire when they will be in next so we can schedule a consultation.

What forms of payment do you accept?

Cash or credit card. If you are paying by credit card, please be advised that the card holder must be present to provide a signature on the sales receipt and they must have proper identification providing they are in fact the credit card holder.
